Tiny (but not so tiny) Victories!

Thanks to you, we were able to achieve
the following in 2025:

✅ BRT FESTIVAL MOVED - We stopped the BRT Weekend Festival from happening on our beach! It was moved way down the boardwalk to a better spot.

✅ BEACH BAR EXPANSION HALTED - We helped stop the Beach Bar expansion which included a swimming pool on the beach

✅ CITY COUNCIL SUPPORT - We got the support of four city council members who continue to represent us! By the way…. We 🧡 Councilman Tibbitt, Councilman Kurtz, and Councilwoman Lacca. They’ve been working tirelessly to support us. Send them a Thank You Note.

✅ CELEBRITY CORNER TRASH CONTAINED - Celebrity Corner and the Beach Bar have publicly stated they will no longer overstuff trash. This remains to be seen (it just happened), but we’re considering it a Victory.

✅ MAYOR SMALL SAID HE PLANS TO MOVE THE BEACH BAR - We know it hasn’t happened yet, but he said this at a meeting at the Ocean Club. He said it out loud. He pretty much said it’s in the wrong place, and he’s going to try to re-locate it. It’s in the press. So, we kinda consider this a Victory because we have hope.
